Meet Jessica
Physical Therapist / Certified Holistic Nutritionist / FAMM Certified Practitioner
Jessica's first love was sports and competition. She was a collegiate level soccer player, honored as a 2-time Division I All American and then transitioned to become a triathlete, completing several half-ironman competitions. This love of fitness drew her to the field of physical therapy in which she has been happily employed over the last 25 years.
Jessica is fascinated by the body's amazing ability to heal when given the nutrients for optimal energy production while addressing stressors that are depleting these energy reserves. This led her to study holistic nutrition through the Energetic Health Institute. It was at this time that Jessica began to focus on the idea of using nutrition to optimize fertility. Through her recent studies with Lisa Hendrickson-Jack, Jessica has learned the power of using a woman's menstrual cycle as her 5th vital sign. It is a window into her overall health and an amazingly sensitive measurement of real time healing.
Jessica has been able to combine her love of fitness/athletic competition with her skills as a physical therapist, her knowledge and love of holistic nutrition, as well as her training in menstrual cycle charting to help women and girls who have either lost their period or have irregular periods due to hypothalamic amenorrhea. Some women don't know why they no longer have a period and Jessica can work with them to determine the root cause of this issue and develop a strategy to address the cause(s) in order to restore a regular period.
